4th Grade Bottle Cap Mural

The bottlecap mural completed last spring has been hung in the stairwell over the summer. It looks fantastic! Here are a couple views of the finished product. The mural is the same size as the one done last year, 16' x 4'. Great job 4th grade!

Hi
I love this idea. What did you use for the color in the bottle caps?

Zach Stoller said...

The color in the caps is.....the caps! Bottle caps come in more colors than you can imagine, so we sort colors and use them all. The backing board is primed and painted plywood.

Love that my son has been able to be a part of this wonderful project. It looks even more spectacular in person. Great job.

That's wonderful! What kind of boards do you use?

Thanks! The backing is just primed and painted 1/2" plywood. They have 4'x8' sheets at Lowe's for about $15.
